IT Project Manager

We are currently seeking a Project Manager for IT department!

We are Deufol IT Services, responsible for delivering IT operations and modern technologies across the entire Deufol group (https://www.deufol.com/). We manage over 90 branches worldwide, supporting more than 2,400 users. With many new challenges and transformation projects ahead, we are looking to strengthen our IT Operations team by bringing on a dedicated IT Project Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO WITH US?

  • Your main task will be to act as a project manager within the IT Operations team.

  • You will participate in the implementation of IT infrastructure, security, and transformation projects, as well as change requests for the IT Operations area.

  • Collaborate on prioritizing requests and projects, plan team capacities, and create development roadmaps.

  • You will be responsible for planning and delivering projects from start to finish.

  • Ensure that everyone in the team has enough information and clear assignments.

  • Analyze key customer requirements and translate them into concrete project plans.

  • Identify and manage project risks, proactively addressing issues before they arise.

  • Communicate with stakeholders and ensure smooth project execution, including regular reporting.

  • Manage and coordinate the work of team members and subcontractors, ensuring everything runs according to plan.

  • Create and maintain up-to-date project documentation.

WHAT SHOULD THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAVE?

Perfection doesn’t have to be your trait, but there are certain qualities we can’t do without:

  • Experience with project management (junior/medior level) and knowledge of agile methodology.

  • A technological background (IT architecture, Azure cloud, security, networking, and hardware).

  • Enthusiasm and a goal-driven attitude when handling transformation projects.

  • Strong analytical thinking skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to independently design and implement requirements.

  • Willingness to learn new things and continually develop your skills.

  • Knowledge of English at a communication level, German is an advantage

EXAMPLE OF PROJECTS YOU WILL WORK ON:

  • Implementing hybrid Azure cloud environments.

  • Deploying Azure Fabric, BI, and AI solutions.

  • Implementing systems for Identity Management or Mobile Device Management.

  • Optimizing and consolidating data centers.

  • Implementing virtualization technologies to enhance IT infrastructure efficiency.

  • Consolidating IT within various locations of our company.

PLACE OF WORK

The holder of position will be enabled to work from home. However, regular meetings in our IT offices mainly in Brno and/or Břeclav are mandatory.
